
Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP) as per PNGRB regulations 2010 and Amendment 2020.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has published a regulation in 2010 and Amended in 2020 according to which all industries handling petroleum products and natural Gas are required to prepare a manual which will have all details of Emergency Response, Preventive Measures and Disaster Management Plan to handle the situation.

These regulations shall apply to –
a. Hydrocarbons processing installation (refinery, gas processing, LNG Re-gasification installations etc.);
b. Pipeline such as natural gas, propane, butane etc. and the hydrocarbons products which remain in gaseous state at NTP;
c. Liquid petroleum product pipeline;
d. Hydrocarbons gas bottling Installations having receiving, storage and handling facilities including storage for LPG, propane and butane;
e. City or local natural gas distribution facilities;
f. Dispensing stations and POL retail outlets;
g. Transportation of petroleum products by road;
h. Commercial petroleum storage facilities, gas storage facilities and terminals including LNG terminals;
I. Any other installation as may be notified by the Board from time to time;
After preparation of ERDMP same shall be certified and accredited by Third Party Inspection Agency (TPIA) appointed by PNGRB. The list of valid TPIAs is displayed on PNGRB website.
